We are Growing with Grace! With over 4,000 families, (and fast approaching 5,000) we are proud to serve our growing community throughout Johnston County with God’s Grace.

This past weekend at the masses we shared an update on the Growing With Grace capital campaign. This message is so important, we are sharing it in the bulletin as well!

“Thank You!” to all of you who support our parish and have supported the Growing with Grace campaign – both with prayers and with financial gifts and pledges.

As of the weekend of (June 1st/2nd) – approx. 600 families have gifted and/or pledged over $3.1 million dollars to the GWG campaign.
So far, we have received $360,000 in actual donations.
Many of you have made a 5-year financial commitment to support this campaign to expand our church and parking, and others have offered their time and talents to help push this important initiative toward a successful result.
In addition, many of you are contributing by planning and hosting food sales and other events. These events are making a HUGE contribution to the GWG effort. So far, we have raised over $32,000 with these events since January.

Your support has allowed our parish to begin to move forward with our church and parking expansion planning efforts.

We are excited to announce that we have selected O’Brien & Keane Architecture to serve as the architect for our church expansion project. O’Brien designed St. Catherine of Sienna in Wake Forest, NC and Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral in Raleigh, NC among many other notable Catholic churches in the US.
In addition, our building committee is beginning planning / engineering work to layout and design the parking expansion areas.
Please note that the speed at which we can push these projects forward will be determined by how fast donations are received, providing cash flow to fund the design, permitting, and construction.
At the request of many of you - we have instituted a 24-hr adoration on the 1st Friday of each month. The next adoration is July 5th. Please consider joining this wonderful opportunity to grow in faith by spending time with our Lord in prayer.

As a THANK YOU – we are planning a celebration this July to coincide with the feast of St. Ann. This celebration will honor the success of the GWG campaign to date, and also bring our community together to continue to grow in grace with each other. Stay tuned for more details in the weeks ahead, as we get closer to this St Ann Feast Day celebration.
